Richard holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. As a fintech advisor, Richard has played key roles in guiding startups such as Elever and Tamra Capital, advising on product development, ETF selection, and market strategies. He is also the Founder and CEO of Finterest Ventures, where he invests in and advises fintech companies, driving innovation in wealth management. His work with Accelerate Financial Technologies saw the launch of pioneering products, including the world’s first SPAC-focused ETF and a negative-carbon Bitcoin ETF.
